Hove Division

Between Friday 31st July and Friday 6th August 2010 guides from Hove, Sussex and the world, celebrated the Girlguiding UK centenary with a massive camp at Blacklands Farm in East Grinstead.

The girls picked their own activities, everything from quad biking and abseiling to drumming and street dancing; and from windsurfing and climbing to singing and mask making.

In all, there were 750 guides and leaders at the camp, including groups from Chile, Estonia and Nigeria. On Sunday, the 2nd July, they were joined by hundreds of brownies and rainbows for a big day of celebrations
