Across Hove, Brownies, Guides and Rainbows have been launching the Girlguiding centenary in style with four parties! West Hove District travelled by open-top double decker buses to a BBQ and campfire at Devil's Dyke. East Hove met at Park Wood campsite where brownies and guides completed a tunnelling activity and emerged plastered in mud. Blatchington Mill School was taken over by North Hove District and Portslade guides, brownies, rainbows and leaders had a street party at St Nicholas Church Hall. Hundreds of girls and adults had a fantastic day and we're now all really looking forward to 2010 and a year of more exciting celebrations.
Calling all Hove Brownie, Guide and Rainbow leaders, if you've got pictures of the celebrations you attended please email them to Claire or your division commissioner and we'll upload them here...
